Anyone can nominate a person or organisation for an award.
Nominees for the Resuscitation Award, First Aid Encouragement Award or the First Aid Excellence Award must have undertaken some formal first aid training but have no other medical or paramedical training and must only be lay workplace First Aiders within the employer’s workplace or school, and not involved in provision of first aid with any other professional or voluntary organisation.
Nominees for the Employer First Aid Initiative Award or the Schools First Aid Initiative Award must not be operators within or be directly associated with the healthcare industry.
To nominate an individual, a workplace or a school, please navigate to the nomination form in the website header or click here.
The online nomination form must be completed and lodged with Australian First Aid no later than Friday 15th March 2019.
Employers and First Aiders deserve recognition for their contribution to health and safety in their workplace, so ensure you help to spread the news and joy of a successful resuscitation by also applying for an Australian First Aid Award that can be treasured forever by you and your team.
Awards send strong messages to staff on the importance of maintaining a safe workplace and the value that your organisation places on a healthy workplace.
Many thanks for your continued support and for your efforts in helping to save lives.
